Terms and Conditions for Moving Services in Canada

Welcome to Demenagement-Garant. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our moving services in Montreal and across Canada. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services Provided
Demenagement-Garant offers residential moving, commercial moving, long-distance moving, packing services, furniture delivery, and related services. All services are provided based on the agreement between the company and the client.

2. Booking and Confirmation
All moving services must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once agreed by both parties, either in writing or verbally.

3. Pricing and Payment
Prices are based on the type of service, distance, volume of items, and additional services requested. All fees will be communicated in advance. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

4. Client Responsibilities
The client must ensure that all items are properly prepared for moving. Fragile or valuable items should be clearly identified. The client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the move.

5. Liability and Damages
Demenagement-Garant takes all necessary precautions to protect your belongings. However, we are not responsible for damages resulting from improper packing by the client, pre-existing damage, or items not suitable for transport. Any claims must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery.

6. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
While we strive to meet scheduled times, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Demenagement-Garant is not liable for delays beyond our control.

7. Cancellation Policy
Clients must notify us in advance for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the request.

8. Access and Safety
The client must ensure safe and adequate access to both pickup and delivery locations. Additional charges may apply for difficult access, stairs, or special handling requirements.

9. Prohibited Items
We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, or perishable goods. The client must not include such items in the shipment.

10. Changes to Terms
Demenagement-Garant reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
